Your Questions, Answered

Q: How long is a typical session?

Each session is between 3 and 4 hours. I will run a session for as long as everyone is open to playing and having fun, and will make sure that the story ends with a satisfying ending.

Can we make our own Characters?

Absolutely! As part of my services, I can have an online or in-person setup session to give everyone a chance to meet me, learn a bit about the game, and build characters. This is where we will also discuss boundaries and rules at the table.

If you are unsure about making a character, but have ideas about a storyline or theme, I can take those ideas and create a character for you and your party.

Do you run games online or in person?

I offer both! In-person sessions are available in Raleigh, NC, and online sessions are hosted on [Roll20 / Discord / Zoom, etc.].

I prefer to do in-person sessions at local game establishments. If you have one you like, please let me know, and I can add any rental expenses to the estimate

Are you open to running for Ongoing Campaigns or West March Style Campaigns

If you enjoy my storytelling style or how I run a table, we can definitely discuss options for recurring sessions. If you are looking to book an ongoing session, but have not experienced a session with me, I suggest looking at a One-Shot option first to ensure I meet your expectations

About Me

Hello! My name is Justin, and I’ve been running tabletop RPGs as a Game Master for nearly 15 years. I began hosting casual games with friends right after high school as a way for us to stay connected while starting our adult lives in college and work. RPGs quickly became a meaningful way for me to help people socialize, bond, and create unforgettable moments—and that passion has only grown. In recent years, I’ve stepped outside my comfort zone to Dungeon Master at events like Playthrough Gaming Convention in Raleigh, and I’m excited to continue expanding into new conventions and opportunities.

When I’m not behind the GM screen, I’m diving into other fantasy and sci-fi worlds. I’m a huge fan of Brandon Sanderson, Star Trek, World of Warcraft, and Final Fantasy, so my imagination draws from a wide range of settings and inspirations that often spill into my sessions.

I love crafting fun, lighthearted adventures that make players laugh, relax, and feel at home. My philosophy is simple: we’re here to share a great story, and my job is to make sure you leave with a smile and memorable moments you’ll want to tell your friends and coworkers about. Gaming should always be a fun, safe space, and I’m committed to creating the best possible experience for everyone who joins my table.
